prawn chowder

prawn chowder

allotment ingredients: onion, carrot, courgette, spinach
shop-bought:  prawns, potatoes, crème fraiche, bouillion vegetable stock

A creamy white concoction of potatoes, onions and seafood would tick enough boxes for this to be called a chowder.  Technically though it’s not the cream or the seafood that defines a chowder but the potatoes that thicken it and there was no time for that before dashing off to the 2000 Trees festival this weekend.  Call it what you will, it tasted delicious.
