making more kale crisps

March 7, 2011 at 8:13 pm 4 comments

Ten minutes to make, two minutes of melt in the mouth bliss:  the easiest way in the world to eat a whole plate of vitamin zinging greens and feel like it’s a cheeky treat.
Ok, so perhaps that’s just me – G can take or leave kale crisps and mostly leaves them.  To say ‘I love kale crisps’ though is no exaggeration so I’m more than happy to munch alone!

Resorting to shop bought curly kale makes for smaller more frazzled crisps than the chunkier home-grown kale crisps I’m more used to tucking into.  But any lack in texture was more than made up for in taste by using home-made raspberry vinegar. Truly delicious if you like that sort of thing!

Fantastic. Thanks for the idea Nic. I LOVE kale anyway, but tried this way of cooking just now (and added a little chili and garlic) and I’m hooked. x

Someone was excited to find friends have come to stay. "Help Mummy and Daddy decorate the Christmas tree" is the #kindnesselves first suggestion.
#nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife E found his playgroup Angel Gabriel costume and photo from 2 years ago and found it amusing how much his arms had grown!

This is what the allotment is probably looking like (#onefromthearchives January 2013). #nipitinthebudblog #snowyallotment #allotmentgardening #newblogpost - an @oxouk stocking fillers gift guide . We've decided to book the community hall at our local cafe like we did a few years ago. His 3rd birthday cake and jungle themed food will be a hard act to follow and he's chosen Dr Seuss for his theme so goodness knows what sort of cake we'll pull out the bag for this one! #birthdaycake #birthdaypartyfood #nipitinthebudblog #willywonkacake Rather intrigued by these!!!! @Regranned from @marksandspencer - Introducing the avocado you never knew you needed.
