That’s the way to cope with this weirdly summery weather – much better than what I came up with yesterday, namely heaving broken bits of slab around to create paths…

I love the way cats can sleep anywhere!

Those claws on his left paw mean business. That’s his way of saying: “Don’t disturb my nap!”

Hazel – even returning at 4am didn’t deter them from flying down the stairs to greet us. All 3 curled up on the bed that night.

Janet – ouch, sounds back breaking. We could all do with being a bit more cat like!

Mrs Pao – you comment reminds me of a poem by Eleanor Farjeon

    Cats sleep anywhere,
    any table, any chair.
    Top of piano, window-ledge,
in the middle, on the edge.
    Open draw, empty shoe,
    anybody’s lap will do.
    Fitted in a cardboard box,
in the cupboard with your frocks.
    Anywhere! They don’t care!
    Cats sleep anywhere.

Tom – he loves his tummy being tickled but there’s a fine line between bliss and aggravation and that’s when the claws have an outing. Bless him, he pulls his punches though. Or perhaps it just feels that way because he has so much fluff coming from his pads through his claws!

Someone was excited to find friends have come to stay. "Help Mummy and Daddy decorate the Christmas tree" is the #kindnesselves first suggestion.

#nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife E found his playgroup Angel Gabriel costume and photo from 2 years ago and found it amusing how much his arms had grown!

#gloucesterlife It snowed all day and we were indoors with poorly boys (they had a 15 minute play in the yard at least). This is what the allotment is probably looking like (#onefromthearchives January 2013). #nipitinthebudblog #snowyallotment #allotmentgardening #newblogpost - an @oxouk stocking fillers gift guide . The steel jigger is our absolute favourite this year :0)

We've decided to book the community hall at our local cafe like we did a few years ago. His 3rd birthday cake and jungle themed food will be a hard act to follow and he's chosen Dr Seuss for his theme so goodness knows what sort of cake we'll pull out the bag for this one! #birthdaycake #birthdaypartyfood #nipitinthebudblog #willywonkacake Rather intrigued by these!!!! @Regranned from @marksandspencer - Introducing the avocado you never knew you needed. Our new cocktail avocados don’t have a stone and are completely edible (yes including the skin) In stores now in limited supply. 🥑🥑🥑 - #regrann
