… yellow.

Our first item of clothing for the baby – made by its Nana and so very cute.
The cats were disgusted that I overruled their’ yoghurt’ suggestion for a cardigan!

Very cute indeed. I expect knitting needles and crochet hooks will be flying in the next few months. Those cats have no shame.

    Cute cardigan and cute cats!

Sweet, and I bet that’s the first of many! Your cats are doing what Ruby, our greyhound likes to do – she always carries the tub off to her bed, and her long nose is perfect to get to the bottom! She quite often looks up at us wearing a yogurt pot!

The yellow cardigan is very adorable indeed.

The cat looks not too happy though,

choclette – absolutely and the master knitters in our family won’t need a winter birth as an excuse to go knit crazy!

alison – thanks, I hope the cats find the baby in the cardigan as cute as we will

Lynne – that’s why Poppet ends up with the final lick as her head is smaller! She’s really cute when she uses her paw as a scoop.
As for my Z… I’ve lost momentum haven’t I. Maybe Z should be for zzzzzzz (talking of which, I’m off for a nap!)

Shaheen – Mikey always muscles his way in first and then looks very smug afterwards

Johanna – a cat in a cardy! Now that would end in clawed bloddy arms I’m sure.

#nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife #easypeasylemoncake Fondly thinking of my Nan as I mix up the lemon cake batter with L. When I baked with her as a child we sometimes used a wooden spoon for mixing but I was in awe of the hand held whisk with the handle that seemed so miraculous. I love that @oxouk have a modern day version for mornings when our slow pace doesn't want to be interrupted by the whirr of machinery #nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife #oxogoodgrips #bakingwithkids #childhoodunplugged #slowsaturdays #lovedungarees Trying to decide whether to make lemon cake or these beetroot and chocolate muffins. I guess the boys will determine that as I've all the ingredients for one but not the other! Love having an on-line cookbook to browse through in my blog. #nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife #beetrootandchocolatemuffins #bakingwithkids #flashbackfriday here you go @cathy.heller my 2.5 year old self saying Hi to your 6 year old self! My love of gardening must have started at a young age. I'm pleased to say I get most of the water on the plants these days!
#nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife #throwbackphotos #gardeningwithkids #70skid Writing clears my head. I write the words it's too scary to mutter. Sharing the words is scary too but in the sharing comes the feeling of being less alone in it. I dumped these words in a blog post 3 years ago. Time to let them fly and find someone who might be having a hard time today. Link to "how it feels sometimes parenting a 3 year old" in bio. Much love x #nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife #parentingistough #writingastherapy #newblogpost #gentleparenting Thanks Anna @imaginationtree for this brilliant toddler activity idea. 23 month old Luca filling up muffin tins with balls using our fab easygrip @oxouk tongs #nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife #oxogoodgrips #thelennyagency Regrann from @musicalgeorgemoorey - Alice White & George Shilling in action a few hours ago for session 6 of #spacesgloucester @gloucestercathedral #nationallotteryfunded Luca and I discovered the most amazing place in town today. A beautiful craft space where you pay £4 to make anything from beautiful beaded canvases to painted ornaments to mosaic door signs. What a peaceful way to spend an hour making a canvas for the boys. Luca helped too, mostly by bimbling about picking up pots of beads and letters. If you're in Gloucester you must check out @kftreasureseekers . Open daily including Saturdays and available for parties. We'll definitely be back!
