Week 3 - family_us 3
…puddle hopping in the rain followed by pizza for lunch is reason enough to smile isn’t it! And I didn’t even ask for that peck on the cheek – E’s such a charmer.

Such precious family time for us this month and I can’t help but share a few more highlights from our weekend away in Glastonbury which included chasing chickens and riding bikes and E’s first time playing on the beach at Burnham-on-Sea.
day in the life mosaic_Glastonbury weekend*

Lucy’s ‘Dear Beautiful’ Me and Mine post this month also reminded me of a lovely Sunday morning stroll we took through the Alney Island Nature Reserve.  E was in his element riding his bike, shouting ‘moo moo’ every time he saw a cow and picking ‘yellow wowers‘. E buttercups FB banner

I love these buttercup pictures of E so much it might be time to update my blog header – I feel a little pang each time I log in and see my poppy strewn allotment header and wonder how it’s really looking. Pictures of my little man serenading flowers on the other hand never fails to make my heart smile.

Susan – thanks, lovely to hear from you, E’s an easy subject to photograph :o)

Caroline – that one totally sums him up ”hmm what’s next on my cheeky list?”

Becky – we do have a lot of fun :o) so true weatherwise and no more so than on the day of our bike ride!

Lucy – definite melt the heart moment, he’s such a poppet (biased of course!)

Charlotte – sigh, which we could have more weekends like that :o)

Emily – I’m enjoying how freely he gives kisses out, long may it last!

    Cariemay – ‘born to smooch’ – wouldn’t that make a nice t-shirt!
