You could do a lot worse than pay a visit to one of Gloucester’s best kept secrets. Great Witcombe Roman Villa, a few miles out of the City with amazing views across the valley.  It’s a bit of a walk from the car park to the remains of the 1st century villa but this view will cheer you on your way.   There’s no rush is there when thinking is all you have on your to-do list?4-6-13 - Roman Villa 4B

I say grew but I actually just forgot about them and they did this all by themselves!
