Me and Mine May 2018 - nipitinthebud.co.uk
It’s nearly a year since I last joined in with Me and Mine to share photos of a family weekend in the Isle of Wight.  It’s so nice to have this little nudge each month to capture the memory of time well spent together.  The last few months G has been really busy and didn’t even get to pause for his birthday due to the way his freelance work fell that week (most days he’s juggling 3-4 different freelance jobs).  G was holding out for our trip to Cornwall for a wedding with his family and catching up with his best friend from school.  We had a glorious couple of days hanging out at the beach watching 6 kids at play and spending our evenings together minus the usual distractions in our relaxed and homely Airbnb accommodation.  Our Me and Mine family portrait was snapped by our friends after a fab day out at Holywell Beach and dinner at their house.  It’s a lovely reminder of time well spent and I love the way both the boys sunny personalities shine through.

What family memories did you make this month?

Lunch served on a bed of allotment grown lettuce to make up for the distinct lack of a certain green ingredient from my Greek Salad (I can't really call it that anyway as I can't resist adding balsamic vinegar). #nipitinthebudblog #gloucesterlife

It's the season - elderflower cordial making. Everything about this activity was sheer delight from picking with L to making with a friend. And the smell and taste, so yummy. Details on the blog (link in bio)
Fathers Day came and went with G having to work away for the day and me being busy with the boys at my parents. So I didn't get the chance to say what a brilliant, supportive and kind Father and husband G is. This is Luca at 4 days old snugged into his Dad's hoody when I was too ill with an infection to hold him We were cup feeding him expressed milk because he had a tongue tie and couldn't nurse. Hard times are always made easier with @musicalgeorgemoorey by my side. #nipitinthebudblog #coparentingdad #gloucesterlife

Day 16 of #30dayswild - reading nature stories at bedtime. One of E's favourites 'The winter hedgehog'. When I said to E we hadn't really done a random act of wildness today he immediately replied "yes we did, we went outside, we looked at flowers and Luca picked up pine cones on the way to Alfie's party". Oh yes! #gloucesterlife #nipitinthebudblog @gloswildlife
