  1. What a delightful surprise to find your blog today. So interesting compared to most I have seen, and lovely photos. Particularly love the unusual recipes.
Is there a way to access the recipes that I cannot click on in the recipe index?
I am a transplanted Brit in Maryland, USA and am always looking for British recipes on line. I was directed to your site when looking for chutney recipes….specifically plum and apple ones I can make in a slow cooker.
I also happen to be gluten free so of course I was thrilled to accidentally find your lemon drizzle cake recipe which I can’t wait to make.
I spent so long on your site that I didn’t have time to make anything today after all. I will be checking in on a regular basis. Thank you for a very enjoyable blog.

  2. Hi Fiona, thanks for taking the time to share such lovely feedback. It’s always a pleasure to hear people like my ramblings and are trying our the recipes in their own kitchen, in sometimes far flung corners of the world.

The recipes without links are for things I’ve made but not got round to writing about. Let me know what you were particularly interested in and I’ll see if I can dig out the recipe for you.

Enjoy your cake! I have another recipe for chocolate orange cake using almonds instead of flour which is just heavenly. It’s a rare treat though as it’s so calorific!

    cheerio, N
